Nathalia Meza - Service

Hi there! My name is Nathalia Meza, and I am from Los Angeles, California. I am a nursing major here at Gonzaga! Joining Setons has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. Getting to be surrounded by and a part of such an amazing group of girls has been one of the most memorable experiences of my sophomore year! Setons has been a great opportunity to expand my involvement within Gonzaga and the greater Spokane community by making lasting impacts through acts of service. Emmeline Penn - Service

Hi there! My name is Emmeline Penn, and I am a Psychology major with a Business minor here at Gonzaga. I am from Mercer Island, WA which is about 15 minutes outside of Seattle. In my free time, I love to hang out with my friends, go boating, try new foods, and watch movies.
Out of the three pillars of Setons, this year's service made the biggest impact on me. I was extremely lucky to get the opportunity to work with kids through Transitions Living Center every week. It did not take long to build an unbreakable bond with each child there, and seeing their faces light up every time we walked in was so special. We would play with the kids, make them food, help them with homework, and just talk. Despite the moods or emotions of the kids that day, it was always the most rewarding feeling. There is no feeling like making an upset kid smile. I am very thankful for Setons and TLC for this opportunity to work with them, it truly has been life-changing.
