Yuna Jang: Sisterhood

Hello! My name is Yuna and I am from Sacramento, California. A bit about my home life, I have a sister who currently attends Baylor University on track to become a doctor and I am currently studying nursing. My parents own their own sushi restaurant so I can confidently say sushi is my favorite food (and I know good sushi). Other than Setons, I am also involved in the Gonzaga Student Nurses Association here on campus as well as when I’m at home from school, I work at my local gym’s kid’s club because I love working with kids! Although nursing is pretty rigorous academically, in my spare time I live with 3 other roommates and we love to cook, watch movies, go on walks, and shop!  I chose the Seton pillar of sisterhood. This pillar is truly what drew me to Setons in the first place. As a 2nd semester freshman girl, I felt like I had met a lot of people but didn’t truly connect with any to call them a close friend. However, once I joined Setons, I got to truly and deeply connect with ...

Audrey Ganem - Service

Hello! My name is Audrey Ganem and I am a Business major from sunny Tucson, Arizona. Some of my favorite hobbies are hiking, biking, and playing card games with my family. I am so thankful that we have been able to be at school in Spokane this year, and even more thankful that the Setons have had the chance to be active this semester.
Growing up, service has always been a really important aspect of my life and I was involved in multiple service organizations up until I graduated high school. Going into freshman year, I wanted to take a little bit of time to adjust to the huge change of college and decided to focus on my school work however, I always felt that I was missing something in my life. So I decided to join setons. Being part of this club has not only given me the opportunity to meet 28 amazing girls, but I have also had the chance to be more involved in the Spokane community. Every Wednesday I go with three of my sisters, Livie, Emma, and Elly, to volunteer at Women and Children’s Free Restaurant. We help WFCR with their contactless food distribution, where they provide families in need, with fresh produce, dairy products, canned goods, and other shelf-stable products. There is no better feeling than helping our community with your setons sisters! ATTS :)
