Nathalia Meza - Service

Hi there! My name is Nathalia Meza, and I am from Los Angeles, California. I am a nursing major here at Gonzaga! Joining Setons has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. Getting to be surrounded by and a part of such an amazing group of girls has been one of the most memorable experiences of my sophomore year! Setons has been a great opportunity to expand my involvement within Gonzaga and the greater Spokane community by making lasting impacts through acts of service. Olivia Abler: Leadership

Hello! My name is Olivia Abler and I am from Claremont, CA. I am a Human Physiology major in the Honors Program. I currently work as an Honors Peer Mentor for the “Spokane As Text” first-year seminar. In my free time, I like to explore the outdoors, craft, go thrift shopping, and listen to audiobooks. I also love to collect miniature items.

Through Setons, I have the opportunity to volunteer at the Hutton Settlement as a youth tutor. Leadership experiences have always fostered my personal growth and passion for community engagement. The positions I held have allowed me to challenge myself, build confidence, and develop resilience. At Hutton especially, I have had to come up with creative solutions to keep students engaged, model patience, and maintain a friendly and trustworthy demeanor. I am grateful for the skills and relationships I have developed as a volunteer. One of the most fulfilling aspects of leadership is the ability to be a driving force for positive change in a community. I value any occasion where I can connect with others and work together for a common goal. I hope to act as a mentor to others and demonstrate that everyone can contribute to the betterment of their community.
