Nathalia Meza - Service

Hi there! My name is Nathalia Meza, and I am from Los Angeles, California. I am a nursing major here at Gonzaga! Joining Setons has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. Getting to be surrounded by and a part of such an amazing group of girls has been one of the most memorable experiences of my sophomore year! Setons has been a great opportunity to expand my involvement within Gonzaga and the greater Spokane community by making lasting impacts through acts of service. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, thrifting, playing the ukulele, and spending time with my friends.                                                 One of the aspects of Setons that I truly enjoy is the opportunity to give back and serve the greater Spokane community through various weekly and monthly volunteer opportunities. Olivia Magruder- Service

Hello, I’m Olivia Magruder and I’m from Las Vegas, Nevada. I am pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in either finance or accounting. I transferred to Gonzaga spring semester 2021 and I have been grateful to have met so many amazing friends since. At Gonzaga I participate in two other clubs along with setons; Beta Alpha Psi and Gonzaga Women in Business. I look forward to when Setons hosts Charity Ball because it will be fun event for students, while positively impacting the Spokane community.

I believe service is one of the greatest and most fulfilling experiences apart of this club. This semester I have had the opportunity to serve at St. Margaret’s Shelter with some of my sisters. We sorted through donations at the shelter and helped organize their shop each Saturday. Knowing that my help at the shelter would benefit homeless families in the Spokane community is such a great feeling. Another great service opportunity is our monthly service. My favorite monthly service has been writing Christmas cards for people going through difficult times. It was really cool knowing that my Christmas cards would brighten someone’s day. I am so thankful that Setons can provide me with such opportunities to make a helpful influence in other people’s lives.
