Annemarie Stanga: Leadership

 Hi! My name is Annemarie and I am from Denver, Colorado. I am majoring in Biochemistry and Spanish and minoring in Art History on a pre-med track. I am also a student ambassador and doing research on campus. In my free time, I love being in the mountains and doing everything outside, especially hiking! I also enjoy traveling and spending time with my family. My favorite thing about going to school in the Pacific Northwest is the coffee scene, so I'm always up for visiting a new coffee shop! One of our pillars as Setons is leadership. Leadership can take on many forms, and being a Seton means growing in both individual and communal leadership styles. By coordinating service events as one of our service chairs or by inviting a sister out for a coffee date, I have learned how to take initiative and connect with others. being a Setons has allowed me to grow in my own confidence while being surrounded by the most supportive sisters! Olivia Magruder- Service



Hello, I’m Olivia Magruder and I’m from Las Vegas, Nevada. I am pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in either finance or accounting. I transferred to Gonzaga spring semester 2021 and I have been grateful to have met so many amazing friends since. At Gonzaga I participate in two other clubs along with setons; Beta Alpha Psi and Gonzaga Women in Business. I look forward to when Setons hosts Charity Ball because it will be fun event for students, while positively impacting the Spokane community.


I believe service is one of the greatest and most fulfilling experiences apart of this club. This semester I have had the opportunity to serve at St. Margaret’s Shelter with some of my sisters. We sorted through donations at the shelter and helped organize their shop each Saturday. Knowing that my help at the shelter would benefit homeless families in the Spokane community is such a great feeling. Another great service opportunity is our monthly service. My favorite monthly service has been writing Christmas cards for people going through difficult times. It was really cool knowing that my Christmas cards would brighten someone’s day. I am so thankful that Setons can provide me with such opportunities to make a helpful influence in other people’s lives.
