Laila Zommers: Sisterhood

Hello! My name is Laila Zommers and I’m from Seattle, WA. I’m double majoring in Accounting and Business Administration (with a Finance concentration). I am the oldest of 3, and my younger sister (17) and younger brother (15) are my best friends! Joining Setons this year has truly been one of the best decisions I have EVER made. Outside of Setons, I am an active member in the Gonzaga Women in Business club. I love to cook, go on runs, hang out with friends, shop, and explore the Spokane coffee scene.                                            Out of our three pillars, I have resonated the most with Sisterhood as it’s the backbone of everything we do in Setons. Lily Thornburg: Sisterhood

Hi, I'm Lily and I from Seattle Washington. On a business administration major with concentrations, in entrepreneurship, and innovation international business and marketing. I'm involved in new venture lab on campus and the Gonzaga ambassadors' program aside from being a part of Setons of Gonzaga. I really enjoy going on walks, listening to podcasts, and watching sunsets. I'm looking forward to all the fun memories the rest of sophomore year has to hold.
The sisterhood pillar in setons stands out to me the most because of the importance of it in all aspects of what we do at setons. During service I grow so close with my sisters and have really enjoyed getting to know them on a deeper level. I'm also one of this year's social chair so I get to plan all our social events and facilitate our bonding Activities. I thoroughly enjoy our Wednesday meetings where we get to update each other on all things new within the club and our lives. My favorite moment thus far has been retreat. I planed it with my co chair and feel so much more bonded with everyone in our group because of the time we got to have together. I'm so thankful for all of the friends that I've met through this organization and can't wait to continue our relationships after Setons is over.
