Eleanor Johnson: Service

Hi! My name is Eleanor Johnson, and I am from Snohomish, Washington. I am majoring in Accounting and Business Administration with a concentration in Management Information Systems and have a minor in dance. Outside of class I work with Campus Kitchens, a program on campus that takes leftover food from campus dining to cook warm meals that are then served to Gonzaga Family Haven and O’Malley Senior Center. Along with Setons I am apart of Women in Business, Beta Alpha Psi, and the involved in the Gonzaga dance program. In my free time I like to read, get coffee, take workout classes, and watch Gilmore Girls.   I joined Girl Scouts in first grade and ever since, Service has been extremely important to me and something I strive to keep a part of my life. Growing up in Girl Scouts allowed me to recognize the importance of helping those in my community from an early age and has ultimately led me to be the person I am today. Service was the pillar that drove me to join Setons, and I’m so ...

Natalie Bright: Sisterhood

Hey Everyone! I’m Natalie and I am a Finance and Entrepreneurship major from Woodinville, Washington. I am also the Treasurer for Setons of Gonzaga. Go Women in Finance! I am hoping to pursue a career in consulting after graduation and really want to stay in the Pacific Northwest! I can't possibly live in an area without my favorite hikes and amazing views :) If you couldn’t tell, I am an outdoors enthusiast, whether it be hiking and paddleboarding in the summer or skiing and snowshoeing in the winter. Some of my favorite things include country music, Taylor Swift, and One Tree Hill. Fun Fact: my roommate andI went as Lucas and Nathan Scott for Halloween this year :) Apart from my classes, I spend my days either working as a Referee for the RFC, working with my New Venture Lab team, or running along the Centennial Trail. In my free time I love to explore Spokane, and this year my favorite new spot has to be the Auntie's Books! I am looking forward to the holiday seasons and getting to see family and friends.
The 3 pillars that the Setons of Gonzaga are centered around are Sisterhood, Leadership, and Service. Sisterhood had made a very significant impact on myself this semester. Being brought together with 29 other girls this semester and being able to bond and make lasting memories through weekly service, weekly meetings, and our social events has been a real treat this year. I feel as though I have joined a community that will last a lifetime. So far this year, I have had an amazing experience as a member of the Setons of Gonzaga. I have thoroughly enjoyed every single one of my sister dates. Everyone is so kind and fun to be around! Our November Social at Union Studios has to be one of the highlights of my semester. I am so excited to continue bonding with my Seton sisters next semester. I am so thankful for each and every sister. I have never had a sister and to gain 29 all at once has been such an amazing and fulfilling experience.
