Audrey Mitchell: Leadership

Hi Everyone! My name is Audrey, and I’m from Seattle, Washington! I’m majoring in Economics and Business Administration with a concentration in Law and Public Policy and a minor in Leadership. On campus, I’m involved in the Comprehensive Leadership Program and Setons! In my free time, I love playing tennis, reading, and hanging out with friends and family. Something Seton related that I’m looking forward to is the retreat! I’m so excited to have time with all my sisters! The pillar in Setons that I’m most involved in is Leadership! I appreciate that Setons takes a leadership role not only in the Gonzaga community but also in the larger Spokane community through service in Spokane and on-campus event planning. It’s such a wonderful way to get involved in our communities. I am also so excited to be the Vice President of Setons and to work behind the scenes to make Setons as amazing as possible! Charlotte Low- Sisterhood

Hello there!

I wanted to share with you all how I’ve experienced the wonderful aspect of sisterhood this year. Sisterhood is one of our three pillars, the other two being service and leadership. Upon joining Setons, there were many names and faces that I did not know. Just in the first few weeks, I was filled with gratitude for the friendships that began to form. My sisters in Setons are one’s filled with support and are lights of joy on this campus. Something that I have really grown to appreciate is our weekly sister dates. Each week, we are paired with a new sister and have the week to go spend time with each other. Sisters can spend their date doing whatever they would like. Some examples include getting a meal at the COG, grabbing Starbucks, going out for ice cream. My sister dates have been wonderful in the ways that I get the opportunity to learn about my new friends and grow closer with them. A few weeks ago, I had a date with Nancy and we sat in Hemmingson, the student center, and played cards over some scrumptious sandwiches. Last week, I grabbed Starbucks with Sophie before our meeting and simply talked about life. These were two incredible instances of how I have experienced how life-giving my sisters are. I am grateful for these moments where my sisters show me through their actions, words, and time how important sisterhood is. Sisters support each other in all of our joy and stresses and make every day one of excitement and unbounding love.
