Valeria Lopez: Service
Hi sisters! My name is Valeria Lopez, and I’m a Public Health and Political Science major from Sunnyside, Washington, which is in Central WA about 40 minutes from Yakima! In my free time, I love exploring new restaurants and café spots, snowboarding, and staying active; whether that’s lifting, yoga, or pilates. Fitness has become such an important part of keeping my mind and body healthy. I also recently picked up painting again, which has always been something I’ve loved since I was little, it’s super relaxing and helps me unwind after busy days. Outside of Setons, I serve as the On-Campus Senator for GSBA and sit on the Governance and Health & Safety Committees. I’m also a pre-nursing student at Spokane Community College, working toward myADN to become a public health nurse. The pillar that resonates most with me is Service.
